說明
一般描述
LB-Agar, high salt is a growth media used in microbiology.[1] It supports Escherichia coli growth to an optical density at 600 nm (OD600) of 7.[2]
應用
LB-Agar, high salt may be used as a growth media in the determination of phylogenetic groups (A, B1, B2, ａnd D) of Escherichia coli bacteria using triplex PCR technique.[3]
Luria Media are used for the cultivation ａnd maintenance of recombinant strains of E. coli for genetic ａnd molecular studies.
制備說明
Suspend 40 g in 1000 ml of purified water. Heat with frequent agitation ａnd boil for one minute. Sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes. Dispense as desired.
