聚乙烯防腐膠帶在市場上名稱復(fù)雜混亂：薄膠型聚乙烯防腐膠帶又稱為冷纏膠帶，聚乙烯防腐膠帶，復(fù)合型聚乙烯防腐膠帶；厚膠型聚乙烯防腐膠帶又被稱為聚乙烯660型防腐膠帶，聚乙烯改性瀝青防腐膠帶，一體帶，有的廠家也稱PipeCoat聚乙烯防腐膠帶。這種防腐膠粘帶帶主要應(yīng)用于石油、天然氣傳輸；化工、城市建設(shè)中的給排水和煤氣輸送等埋地鋼質(zhì)管道的外表面防腐。具有施工方便，無污染等特點，是管道外防腐的防腐體系之一。
聚乙烯防腐膠帶的主要特點有：
1、膠帶厚度選擇范圍大，膠帶根據(jù)防腐具體情況厚度范圍比從0.38mm-1.6mm都可以生產(chǎn)。甚至根據(jù)可以要求可以定制更厚的防腐膠帶。
2、膠帶膠層薄厚均勻，防腐層剝離強(qiáng)度大，基本上都能達(dá)到25N/cm以上。
3、基材與膠層結(jié)合力大，在存放或施工過程中不存在脫膠現(xiàn)象。
4、耐熱老化性好，抗紫外線能力強(qiáng)。
5、拉伸強(qiáng)度高，斷裂伸長率適當(dāng)，便于機(jī)械化和手動纏繞。
6、品種、規(guī)格、顏色可選擇范圍廣，黑色，白色，黃色齊全。
使用方法：
(1) 除銹、除焊縫、毛刺，油、污物并干燥。手工并除銹應(yīng)達(dá)St3級，機(jī)械除銹應(yīng)符合SYJ 4 0 0 7—8 6中的Sa2級。
(2) 涂底漆：應(yīng)采用配套底漆，使用時遠(yuǎn)離火源，攪拌均勻并用干凈毛刷、滾子或其它機(jī)械方法均勻涂敷
(3) 底漆表干時即可纏帶，纏帶應(yīng)符合防腐層等級及結(jié)構(gòu)要求。
(4) 用電火花檢查合格即可下溝填上。
