用切土環(huán)刀切取試樣，修平兩面（如做含水量試驗應將土樣及環(huán)刀立即天平稱重），刀口置于透水視上面，再將導環(huán)放在環(huán)刀上，用導環(huán)螺絲3只輕擰壓平，然后將玻璃活塞頭蓋于土樣表面，使百分表測針端點與活塞頭接觸，然后將清水或天然水柱入容器，使水面經(jīng)常保持與土樣表面高度平齊，或按土工操作規(guī)程使水面
