Function
The enzyme apparently serves as a qui reductase in connection with conjugation reactions of hydroquinons involved in detoxification pathways as well as in biosynthetic processes such as the vitamin K-dependent gamma-carboxylation of glutamate residues in prothrombin synthesis
Tissue Specificity This NQO1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 245~274 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human NQO1.

    Western blot analysis of NQO1 Antibody (C-term) in NCI-H460, MCF-7 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). NQO1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

    NQO1 Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed ａnd paraffin embedded human Lung carcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody ａnd DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the NQO1 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Storage Buffer Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
