一般描述
Tryptic Soy Agar + Penase (Penicillinase) + LTHThio sedi. ICRplus in 90 mm settle plates (lockable ) is designed for the determination of the total aerobic microbial ｃount in air via active or passive air monitoring as well as fingerprints of personnel in isolators ａnd clean rooms. It is a complex medium for cultivation ａnd isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts ａnd molds. The formulation of the Soybean Casein-Digest medium contains combination of casein ａnd soy peptones by supplying organic nitrogen, particularly amino acids ａnd longer-chained peptides. Sodium chloride maintains the osmotic equilibrium ａnd the medium is supplemented with pyruvate to provide an efficient neutralization of hydrogen peroxide residues. Lecithin, polysorbate 80 (Tween®), histidine ａnd sodium thiosulfate are neutralizers to inactivate disinfectants containing active agents such as Alcohol (70% ethanol or isopropyl alcohol), Aldehyde, Chlorides, Dichloroisocyanurate, Glucoprotamine, Peracetic acid, Phenols, quaternary ammonium compounds ａnd Biguanides. The medium is also supplemented with penicillinase (≥ 1000 IU/liter) to neutralize residuals of penicillins, such as benzylpenicillin, ampicillin, amoxycillin, carbenicillin ａnd methicillin. In addition, the plate model (plus or “+”) is supplied with a lockable lid for safe transport after sampling without the risk of losing the lid. For aerobic incubation the plates should be locked in the “CLOSED”-position ａnd for anaerobic or microaerophilic incubation in the “VENT” position.

Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA, Soybean Casein Digest Agar) is a complex medium for cultivation ａnd isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts ａnd molds. The media finds its application in environmental monitoring by determining the total aerobic microbial ｃount in air through active or passive air monitoring as well as fingerprints of personnel in isolators ａnd clean rooms.
