一般描述
Chocolate Contact Agar + LTH – ICR+ is designed for the determination of the total microbial aerobic ａnd anaerobic ｃount on dry, sanitized surfaces ａnd personnel in Clean rooms ａnd Isolators. It is a universal blood containing culture medium for enrichment ａnd isolation of particularly fastidious bacteria. This medium is characterized by a rich nutritive basis. Dextrose is the source of carbon ａnd energy. In addition, haemin ａnd NAD are released from the sheep blood erythrocytes during heating. Lecithin, Histidine ａnd polysorbate 80 (Tween®) are neutralizers to inactivate potential residues of disinfectants. In addition, ICRplus plates (plus or “+”) is supplied with a lockable lid for safe transport after sampling without the risk of losing the lid as well as for aerobic (closed position) ａnd anaerobic or microaerophilic incubation in the “VENT” position.

Chocolate Contact Agar is a complex medium for cultivation ａnd isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts ａnd molds. The media finds its application in environmental monitoring by determining the total microbial aerobic ａnd anaerobic ｃount on dry, sanitized surfaces ａnd personnel in Isolators ａnd Clean Rooms.
