一般描述
Modified Tryptic Soy Broth with Novobiocin is recommended for the enrichment of enterohemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC). The nutrients in mTSB broth provide favorable growth conditions, while the mixture of bile salts No. 3 ａnd Novobiocin suppress the growth of the Gram-positive microbial flora.

mTSB broth with Novobiocin is used for the selective enrichment of enterohemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC) as well as detection of E. coli serotype O157:H7 in foods.
