MacConkey-Sorbitol Chromo Select Agar is recommended for selective isolation of Escherichia coli 0157:H7 from food ａnd animal feeding stuffs. MacConkey Sorbitol Agar is based on the formulation described by Rappaport ａnd Henigh.
制備說明
Suspend 50.1g in 1 litre distilled water. Boil gently to dissolve the medium completely. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. Cool to 50°C. Mix well ａnd pour into sterile petri plates. If desired add Tellurite-Cefixime Supplement to the molten ａnd cooled medium (50°C) before pouring into sterile petri plates.
