一般描述
Universal Pre-enrichment Broth (UPB) is used for recovering sublethally injured Salmonella ａnd Listeria from food products. UPB lacks inhibitory agents to provide selectivity for target pathogens ａnd may not be adapted for samples with high levels of background microflora.
應(yīng)用
Universal Pre-enrichment Broth (UPB) has been used in the enrichment of Listeria monocytogenes ａnd Salmonella species.[1] It has also been used in the growth kinetic studies of Salmonella typhimurium.[2]
制備說(shuō)明
Suspend 38.05 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat if necessary, to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Mix well ａnd dispense as desired.
