Method: colorimetric with color card ａnd sliding comparator pH 4.5 - 5.0 - 5.5 - 6.0 - 6.5 - 7.0 - 7.5 - 8.0 - 8.5 - 9.0 MQuant®
This MQuant® pH test (formally MColortest®) is suitable for the colorimetric determination using the easy to use color card. The evaluation considers the untreated sample so even turbid ａnd colored water samples can be analyzed without further preparation.
The test can be used in:
Groundwater, drinking water, ａnd surface water, seawater
Aquarium water, waters from aquaculture
Boiler water
Industrial ａnd prozess water, wastewater
Swimming-pool water
Food ａnd beverages, milk ａnd dairy products
Soils ａnd fertilizers after appropriate sample pretreatment

Method
An indicator solution changes its color depending on the pH. The pH value is measured semiquantitatively by allocating the color to a value on a reference scale.
