應(yīng)用：氯硝柳胺是一種殺鰻劑，也是一種滅螺劑，它可影響蟲體的呼吸和糖類代謝活動(dòng)，能殺死很多種蝸牛、絳蟲、牛肉絳蟲、豬肉絳蟲和尾蚴。它很可能通過抑制蟲體對氧氣的攝取從而打亂其呼吸程序。在農(nóng)業(yè)上主要用于殺滅稻田中的福壽螺（又稱大瓶螺、蘋果螺）。同時(shí)在公共衛(wèi)生防治方面，用于殺滅蝸牛（血吸蟲的中間宿主）。氯硝柳胺能在水中迅速產(chǎn)生代謝變化，作用時(shí)間不長。 它也用于商業(yè)養(yǎng)魚溏，可以在魚溏換新水之前殺死和清除不想要的魚. 氯硝柳胺對于魚類毒性很大，但在水中只有很短的半衰期，使用這種殺魚劑之后只需要過幾天就可以放入新魚。
