Cetuximab is mainly an anti-tumor targeting drug, which is a monoclonal antibody against epidermal growth factor receptor. It can inhibit the vascular growth factor secreted by tumor cells ａnd reduce the neogenesis ａnd metastasis of tumor blood vessels.

When cetuximab is used, there may be hypersensitivity reactions, such as fever, chills, nausea, rash, dyspnea, etc. Therefore, antihistamine drugs must be used before medication.
